About Texas Food Ranch
Texas Food Ranch is run by Rick and Alik—two Armenian cowboys growing organic produce in the Texas Hill Country. You’ll find them every Saturday at the SFC Sunset Valley Farmers Market, where their stand is known for an abundant (and fast-selling) mix of seasonal fruits and vegetables.
From their farm in Fredonia, TX, they grow organic produce and old-world varieties that you won’t find at the grocery store. Show up early to get first pick of their carrots, tomatoes, melons, ground cherries, sweet potatoes, serpent cucumbers, Brussels sprouts, broccoli greens, Armenian basil, black garlic, and whatever else they’ve pulled from the field that week.
