Southern Star Farms was founded in 2015 as an aquaponics farm before transitioning to soil-based gardening in 2020. Today, the farm is owned and operated by Taylor Simmons and Rocco Moses, supported by a tiny but mighty team of dedicated individuals.
Together, they raise pasture-fed animals and grow produce using organic methods. On the same property, Southern Star Events offers a picture-perfect venue for farm-to-table dinners, weddings, fundraisers, and seasonal dove hunts, bringing people together around food, community, and celebration.
