Ryan follows regenerative farming methods that rebuild the soil and restore ecological balance. His pasture-raised birds are moved daily to fresh grass, where their natural behaviors enrich the land and nourish the ecosystem — resulting in food that’s as flavorful and nutrient-dense as it is ethical. The name Geosmin means “earth smell,” the scent that rises after rain and signals healthy soil — a fitting symbol for a farm that’s helping to heal both land and community. Everything at Geosmin is raised without chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or shortcuts — just vibrant soil, healthy animals, and hands-on care. You can find their “grassified” chicken and other pasture-raised meats at the Mueller and Bell farmers markets every weekend in Austin.
