Belle Vie Farm

Perrine and Aubrey, the French‑Texan duo behind Belle Vie Farm & Kitchen, met at sea in 2007—she was a French restaurant manager invited to cook on a Mediterranean yacht; he was a Texas‑born boat engineer. Despite a language barrier, it was love at first sight. Today, they tend to their 40-acres and raise about 200 ducks and chickens, as well as turkeys and pigs on their family farm in Thrall TX. They bring organic, pasture-raised meat and eggs to the market as well as French-style sausages and pâtés. You can find their delicious selections every weekend at the Mueller and Bell Farmers Markets, as well as at their two Local Pastures storefronts in Austin.
