Peter Klein is the executive chef of Holiday, the East Austin cocktail bar and restaurant known for breezy, Italian-inspired fare and standout pasta. Since opening, Peter has received much-deserved praise including Austin Monthly’s Best New Restaurants and Austin Tastemaker Award’s Chef of the Year.

A New Jersey native who cut his teeth in NYC kitchens, he’s earned the nickname “Pasta King” for dishes like ricotta cavatelli made with his treasured BeeBo pasta maker passed down from his mother and grandmother. Holiday’s menu balances neighborhood ease with chef-driven precision, featuring plates like Spanish anchovies and cultured butter, poached Gulf shrimp cocktail, and zucchini fritters with parmesan aioli and smoked trout roe.
