Matt skipped art school for kitchen life and never looked back, honing his craft at Austin favorites like The Brewer’s Table, Dai Due, Olive & June, and Apis, where he led both pastry and savory programs. He specializes in Italian and Central European cuisine, while pulling inspiration from Japan, Southeast Asia, and Mexico. Now a private chef and consultant, Matt champions local farmers and ranchers, highlighting the best in every ingredient.
