Chef Gabe Erales, the first Mexican-American winner of Top Chef (Season 18), has over 20 years of hospitality experience and is a published cookbook author.
He is the chef/partner of Ometeo Restaurant and Executive Director of Oído, a nonprofit providing culinary education to underprivileged youth in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula. Dedicated to preserving and promoting Latin American cuisine, he also established a scholarship fund at the Culinary Institute of America to support the next generation of Latin American chefs.
